SCKV / YOUR INFORMATION

Privacy notice.

How we handle your project enquiry and protect this website. Updated 7 November 2026.

Who is responsible

DELTATEC LTD, trading as SCKV (Smart Commercial Kitchen Ventilation), is the controller of your personal information. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 10250963. Our registered office is Unit 9-10, Safe Harbour Industrial Estate, 25 Moor Lane, Birmingham, United Kingdom, B6 7AE.

For questions, rights requests or a data protection complaint, email [email protected], call 0330 350 1199, or write to the address above.

Information we use and why

When you contact us, we use the name, email address, company and telephone details you provide, together with your project brief, chosen service, enquiry reference, any campaign-source information accompanying your request, and subsequent correspondence. We use these details to answer your enquiry, discuss technical requirements, prepare quotations and manage any resulting project or service relationship. Only include information relevant to your project.

We also process technical request and security information, such as IP address, browser information, request time and verification results, to deliver the website, prevent abuse and investigate faults. Required form fields give us enough information to respond; without them, we may be unable to handle an online enquiry. You can contact us by telephone or email instead.

Our lawful bases are our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries, administering customer relationships and securing our services; steps you request before entering a contract, or performance of a contract, where applicable; and legal obligations where we must retain business records.

Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing. We do not sell enquiry details or use them for automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.

Services that handle information

Cloudflare provides website hosting, delivery and security, including Turnstile verification when enabled on the enquiry form. Technical and form information passes through these services. Turnstile evaluates browser and connection signals to help distinguish people from automated abuse; see Cloudflare's Turnstile privacy information.

We manage enquiries in our privately hosted EspoCRM system and use our email services to correspond with you. Access is limited to the people and service providers who need it to handle enquiries, support our systems or meet legal obligations. Information may also be disclosed to professional advisers or authorities where necessary or legally required.

Cloudflare operates globally, so information handled by its services may be processed outside the UK under its contractual data-protection and international-transfer safeguards. Further details are in Cloudflare's Data Processing Addendum. You can contact us for information about relevant recipients and safeguards.

How long we keep information

We keep information for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected. The criteria include whether your enquiry is still active, whether a quotation becomes a project, ongoing service and warranty needs, accounting or legal requirements, and the need to resolve disputes or investigate security incidents. Records are reviewed for continuing need and deleted or anonymised when no longer required, allowing for applicable backup cycles.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not use Google Analytics or advertising tracking and does not introduce optional marketing or analytics cookies. Necessary hosting and security technologies may be used by Cloudflare to keep the site and enquiry form available and protect them from abuse.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can request access to your personal information, correction, deletion, restriction, or a portable copy where that right applies. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact us using the details above to make a request or raise a concern.

You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). We would welcome the opportunity to address your concern first. The ICO explains data protection rights and how to raise a data protection complaint.
